On April 23, Ukraine celebrates the All-Ukrainian Day of the Psychologist. As part of this event, a roundtable discussion “Kaleidoscope of Psychological Exercises” was held at IHU
The applicants were greeted by the first vice-rector of Moscow State University, Lefterov V.O., the dean of the Faculty of Linguistics and Translation, Adamova H.V., and the head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Melenchuk N.I.
The event was also attended by the Department's lecturers N.V. Lebedieva, S.S. Yermakova, S.O. Gerega (Director of the IRC #5), practicing psychologists from secondary schools #84, #78 and "Nadiia"; schools for children with visual impairment "Zoresvit" and hearing impairment "Chuchy Serdtsem"; practicing psychologists from kindergartens #15, #263, #275 and kindergarten for children with speech impairment #106.
As part of the event, a webinar was held with Adamova H.V., Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor, where they discussed the relevance of the psychology profession in modern circumstances, as well as the need for quality psychological education.
The students also had the opportunity to talk to specialists who work with special children. The specialists shared their own experiences about the difficulties they face in their work.
Teachers of the department Lebedieva N.V., Yermakova S.S., Gerega S.O. shared their own work experience, drew attention to the internal supports of a psychologist, to the ambiguous circumstances in which we are all now and how to deal with it.
